| Markus Näslund scored the 400th goal of his career in tonight's game against the Minnesota Wild on a feed by Sidney Crosby. I wouldn't have been able to do this without my great teammates, was his only statement before going to the dressing room.
A native of Sweden, Markus Näslund was originally drafted to the NHL by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1st round of the 1991 entry draft. He has appeared in 1055 NHL games during his career, notching 400 goals and adding 491 assists along with 663 penalty minutes. The 36 year old right wing has played 22 games with the Vancouver Canucks this season, totalling 12+11=23 with 10 PIM.
