The 28 year old defenseman has not yet played for the New Jersey Devils this season. He has played 20 games with the Albany River Rats this season, totalling 0+1=1 with 12 PIM.

Ruslan Salei (NJ) suffered arm injury during the game in an incident with Ivan Majesky (NYI). He is expected to be sidelined for more than a month. It's something we need to take care of now before it becomes a problem. It's one of those things where you can play with it, but as the wear and tear of the season goes on it becomes much more serious, the injured player commented.
