| Sidney Crosby has signed a $5,500,000 per year, 3 year deal with the Minnesota Wild. Detailed terms of the deal were not announced.
A native of Canada, Sidney Crosby was originally drafted to the NHL by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 1st round of the 2005 entry draft. He has appeared in 1018 NHL games during his career, notching 398 goals and adding 520 assists along with 488 penalty minutes. The 30 year old center is looking forward for the start of the season.
