It's THursday, right? I hope so, I just simmed.
Big news:
"Kari Lehtonen injured.
Kari Lehtonen (VAN) suffered leg injury during the game in an incident with Benji Yagher (MIN). He is expected to be sidelined for almost half a year. Yeah it hurts, hurts me to watch the game from the press box for a month or so, he said as medics fastened him onto the stretcher."
"League suspends Benji Yagher
The league board has suspended Minnesota Wild player Benji Yagher for 5 games for injuring Kari Lehtonen of Vancouver Canucks."
Ouch, that's hardcore lame for VanCity and resulted in a fastsign strike to boot.
Brutal.

ABOUT : Dallas has gone from
rebuilding to a team, which at the top of the ITC. Valeri Porkhomov is
finally starting to show why he was selected as the Dallas Stars
1st round pick. It appears that he will be the face of the Dallas
Stars for many years to come. Much credit is due to Audun Bjerke who has
taken this team from the darkness into light. It appears that at
age 31, Robert Esche has finally hit his
stride and closed the door on the possibility of an early
retirement, which many thought was possible for the goalie who last had a successful year in 2003-2004.
Does the youth of Dallas have the ability to
prevail within the playoffs? Only time will tell.
